1. Fraud Awareness What is Fraud? Fraud refers to any attempt to obtain a customer’s funds, account information, or personal details through deceptive or unauthorized means. As digital payment adoption grows, fraudsters are constantly developing new tactics to deceive customers. Therefore, recognizing common types of fraud is essential to protecting your account security. Common Types of Fraud Phishing Scam Fraudsters impersonate official companies or customer service representatives by sending links or directing users to fake websites to steal login credentials. Precautions: Do not click on unknown links. Use only official websites/apps. OTP / PIN Scam Fraudsters pose as customer service agents to request OTP codes, PINs, or passwords. Precautions: Never share your OTP, PIN, or password with anyone. Company staff will never ask for this information. Fake Reward / Prize Scam Fraudsters claim that you have won a prize or promotion and request personal information or money to claim it. Precautions: Do not trust announcements that do not come from official channels. Be cautious if you are asked to pay money upfront. Account Sharing Fraud Allowing others to use your Wallet Account, Agent Account, or Merchant Account. Precautions: Never lend your account to anyone. The account owner is strictly responsible for all transactions conducted through their account. (2. Protect Your Account) Follow these guidelines to keep your Wallet Account secure: Use a Strong PIN Avoid easily guessable PINs (e.g., date of birth, phone number). Change your PIN regularly. Keep Your OTP Code Confidential An OTP (One-Time Password) is a security code used for transaction authorization and account verification. Never share the following: OTP Codes PINs Passwords Login Information Use Only Official Apps Download apps exclusively from official stores such as Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Do not install applications from unknown sources. Maintain Device Security Enable a screen lock on your phone. Exercise caution when using public Wi-Fi. Do not grant remote access to unknown persons. Monitor Transaction History Immediately report any transaction you did not perform. Regularly review your account notifications. (3.
